Agree , if it's in the traditional formalized hierarchy environment, but the challenge and opportunity in a decentralised environment based on the proof of stake is, empowerment comes from within.
The best bet is on continuous education through content delivery and offline engagement so for that those who sign up realized that now they too have a stake in the blockchain and as a stakeholder, and what is their stake.
Once they realized, self empowerment begins and initiatives follows. Our role as those that started early, is supporting good initiatives to ensure steemit community and steem blockchain remains and becomes highly valuable in the crypto world.
