Today is the celebration of Thalassemia Day for Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. There are several activities such as talks, exhibitions, blood donation programs and so on.
World Thalassemia Day is celebrated every year on May 8th to commemorate Thalassemia victims and to encourage those who struggle to live with the disease.
