eBay Malaysia team focused major on scaling Cross Border Trade Sellers (CBT). Don't compare them to loal marketplaces as local marketplaces are not cross border platforms.
Think eBay think Global.
Amazon has the worst in my opinion of support. Came to Malaysia in 2015, support about 200+ sellers, then in 2016, the whole support team exited Malaysia. Sickening. Now the Amazon Sellers (MY Based), don't know who to go to when they faced problems in selling CBT.
eBay is coming with interesting programs this year. I will have to 'witness' how receptive it will be this coming weeks. Will share their programs once they have finalised their plans.
That's true about Amazon. I wonder if they still have a presence in Singapore to support SEA sellers? Hopefully eBay Malaysia will not abandon Malaysian sellers like Amazon. Looking forward to read your sharing on eBay and ecommerce
Amazon... got presence in SG but what i was told, only AWS.
As of eBay, i sounded them, not only them, i sounded amazon too for lacking the support... I will be working closely now with eBay... they have new and better directions and support for sellers now... Now i feel that, they are more than happy to assist MY Sellers in the CBT side.
