Silver response for @welshstacker
These are the original Birds of Prey coins bud. They're 1/4 oz sterling silver joints. They don't have one spot on em and the designs are crisp and well detailed
They were released in 2000 and came in a box with booklet. That box is in another box I have with more boxes :) wasn't digging that out
Here's the eagle..
My favorite is the Great Horned Owl..
Next is the Osprey..
Last we have the Red Tailed Hawk..
Cool lil 1/4 oz silver coin set eh? Go Canada
Here's some other bonus Canadian 1/4 pieces with birds on em..
Hope @welshstacker enjoyed the bird watching?
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Shout out to the fine people at..
Dammit I loaded the second pic twice. I forgot a coin on this post 😞 can't win em all..
You dang fowled up on that double picture post!
Otherwise a great post and collection, thanks for sharing.
Haha well played. I sure did flock this one up 😝
You really ducked this one up! (Okay, you guys took the only two good ones.... =[ )
Ner dird abird it! Lol
The Red Tailed Hawk looks like he's ready to Kick Some Butt!
I like the 2012 coin with the Olympic rings.
These all look cool.
Hawks are badass. Thanks for the look and the nice words @goldkey!
You Canada boys are killing it! Way to go! 🇨🇦
Thanks @timitwist! Were trying our best :)
really like the owl, hes cool :)
Yeah his eyes peer into my soul 😐
Yeah the birds are out to night.
Free bird 🐦
"oh nice coins @welshstacker, but have a look at mine!!". No one like a show off @goldenarms. I'll admit that I prefer your collection. Far more detail and a much nicer looking coin all around. Thanks for sharing
Haha no it wasn't for that. These total an oz and yours are 4 😁 thx for the excuse to make a post tho
I'd still rather those 4 X 1/4oz. They are far better looking coins and I'd imagine the numismatic value is greater than the 4 X 1oz I have?
Yeah idk how in demand they are actually? RCM pumps out so many products they kinda get drowned in the sea I think
those are all pretty sweet looking, very crisp, especially the first four
Yeah it's a decent set. So far it's aged very well. Thx for taking g a minute to look at the birdies :)
Lovely Birds...:)
Wow! Nice Coins!
You've just inspired me to dig out the pics of some of mine.
I've been collecting for a long time - all from the Perth Mint in Western Australia.
I'll post some in #steemsilvergold
Those birds of prey are fantastic! The detail on the owl is so nice! Thanks for sharing!
