#motu Revenge of the troggle

~ Gday all you kings and queens of steemit. Story time this one was fun.

Dazed and confused a lone troggle emerges from the dark portal of sorcery the mistress had sent him through. The surroundings were a bit familiar to him though. Bright colored trees and sunshine were enough to make his stomach turn and that would not do. Grass was green as emeralds, unnatural the birds sang as though there hearts could not contain the joy of being alive. Yuk what a horrible sound the trees stood tall majestic and judging no even whispering there opinions about him an intruder into the famous enchanted forest.

user was not the average trogle he was a legend in his own lunch box he on many occasions had wiped out entire populations of gummy bears by the bag full. He was shrewd and conniving when not trapping them he often went to the slavers where he spent his stb's to purchase more of the delicious bears. His bloodthirst for gummies could not be satisfied until he chewed the last fruit flavored bear in existence. The other troggles that the Lady had sent with him were no where to be found it mattered not to him for there repetition of his words were maddening.

The gummy bears were always about the forest picking there berries that the old wizard bear used in his magical potions that gave the little gelatinous freaks there ability to bounce as if made from rubber. His Lady required that he bring back a full sack of these fruits to devise into her own special brew.

user would look for the berries here. This was no time to explore the great woods for the portal would only last for 3 hours. He had not had his breakfast yet and so far there were no gummy bears in sight. The annoyingly cheerful forest was bawdy and unbearable for his eyes. He had doubts he would last the three allotted hours with his sanity intact. Through the rainbow forest he went looking at each shrub scrub and bush for the magic berries.

Ahead in the distance he caught the scent of green apple and could hear the incessant singing at once he knew gummy signs. He quickly tore grass from the ground and let the wind direct it back to the soil. Thank the stars he was not giving his smell to the bear that was working in the magic berries farm. The gummies were clever almost as clever as they were delicious. He backed away and over to the side as to not be in the bears line of sight. Swoosh went the grass that was covering the large hole that he was in the prosess of getting to know better. Down the hole the hapless troggle fell till thud and snap he landed knowing thud was bad and snap was worse he muffled the blood curdling scream of pain as he felt the nerves from his now broken foot reach his brain.

He wanted to scream but knew one peep would alert the bear and the whole forest would be ablaze. It is a little known fact that gummy bears are deranged arsonist and often burn off entire forest enchanted or no for the sake of protecting there precious berries.His decision was made he would climb and claw his way from this whole and make these bears pay for setting such an effective trap.User unsheathed his bear sticker and began the long climb up. with the blade held between his teeth he clawed grasping and griping one hand at a time left right and his one good foot. He knew the pain of his foot would be no match for what lie in store should he fail his task of bringing the lady her berries. Each pull caused the foot to throb in agonizing pain he pushed on.noticing the rancid smell from the pit and goo that was all over him. He pushed and pulled again and again closer to the opening the light and sickening singing of more bears now becoming louder. Until he reached the surface.

Almost there he thought one more ... bamf a basket thwacked him in his face knocking him senseless into the hole again as more and more baskets delivered there payload of rocks he thought as he drifted off for a quick nap no wait rocks don't smell or taste like this this is no it cant be he thought the hole was not a trap but a hidden storage of gummy berries the bears had used.

Unknowingly the troggle had fallen into the cold storage the gummy bears had used for the keeping of the berries so they wouldn't ferment. User the troggle was the one that had laid many traps for the bears and assumed what comes around goes around. This was not the case but ironic it seemed that the trapper had been trapped and he struggled to keep conscious as berries by the basket were slowly burying him alive.

He as a servant of the lady was one of the last semi low intelligent troggle she had at her service. What an unnaturally colorful way to bite it this was. defeated by fruity bears and berries. He couldn't believe it. Sadder still was the fact he never had his breakfast.

In the end sometimes you hunt the bear and others the bear hunts you. Intending on trapping and taking the berries and perhaps a bear or five for himself he was trapped and losing the ability to keep his head above the rising berries in the hole. As user went to sleep he thought sometimes the treasures are right beneth your feet waiting to be stumbled into as he laughed and cried himself to sleep.
