Lose weight in my butt.
Gain weight in my stack.

My wife and I are going to have our first baby, so my goal is to be the best father I can be starting from day 1.

Gotta be weight loss.
I'm doing an Adelaide get together last Thursday of each month next year (Jade monkey, get involved), so I'm thinking zero carbs each month until the Jade, then let my hair down for the rest of the month.

Great to hear m8, I too have some extra kilos I could do with losing.
Personally I have tried zero carb and it can really put you off your goal. You feel lethargic all the time which makes it hard to get in the gym.
You should look more into good carbs and bad carbs and cut out only the bad carbs.

More than happy to give you any advice and answer any questions. I'm not a personal trainer, but I'm not silly and have been studying workouts/healthy eating and much more to do with fitness.

Thanks mate. I've had good results in the past with ketosis; and wasn't planning on doing much exercise.
I'll keep it in mind if I start struggling.
Appreciate it :)

thanks for resteem

Goals for 2018: To use my time more productively. To appreciate and spend more time with my family. To build my career and lay the foundations for the future.

Happy 2018 everyone

Thanks for being such as awesome member of the community! Here are a few of my goals (from my Happy New Years post).

My Steemit Goals

  • Organise meetups for Melbourne Steemit members.
  • Keep regularly posting but hopefully with more focus on statistics and crypto (but probably still some cats, vegan food, photography, and gaming).

My Other Goals

  • Focus on the positive and enjoy life.
  • Socialise more (with humans) and add more positive and similarly minded people to my life.
  • Drop a bit of weight and get fitter. I think I have been using the "I'm a powerlifter" excuse a bit long and the fact that the under 100kg class is more competitive than the under 110kg class shouldn't be a reason to be less healthy.
  • Compete in another powerlifting contest and hopefully improve my PRs.
  • Register my company and start doing consulting (statistics training and data analysis).
  • Start a couple of other side-hustle ideas
  • [edit] Improve my Russian

My new years resolution is to spend more dedicated 1on1 time with my eldest son. Hes 5 and a half now so hes going through big changes and we forget how hard it can be for kids who have a hard time at school. At times it can be a lot like prison where the strong pick on the weak and its these early years that really shape your personality. Time is always limited and theres never enough hours in the day. When i was was his age my dad died, so i missed out on alot growing up. So im going to make the time to teach him everything he needs to know. Because kids grow up so fast. He wants me to take him fishing more often so thats the first step :) happy holidays everyone!

Goals:

  • Lose weight and start to live a healthier life style
  • Continue to develop and pursue my career path
  • Spend more time with my beautiful partner and hopefully travel a little (first time overseas maybe?)

Next year I will be the confidence I believe other to have in themselves!

I might finally buy a single LTC. Been eyeing it off since 2014 or something.

I reckon I'll be aiming to be active on the Steemit platform on a daily basis - at this early stage of my 'career' commenting on other posts and building reputation, and then in a few months, contributing with some content of my own.
