Where I have been lately
I have been offline for a few weeks as so busy setting up our land for Spring and the coming growing season.
Here is a photo of our wild pig (the sow) and her new boyfriend the piglet who we brought this week. In the photo he looks like he is laughing at her but he is only enjoying a scratch.
These are one of our mating pairs, although it will take a few months for him to grow big enough and become sexually mature.
This coming week we have to burn off a few acres to get rid of the build up of dry stuff and encourage the green grass will come through eventually for our sheep and generally clean up the place. Chase the snakes away for a bit. They have started to come out of their hibernation this week as we have spotted a few about.
We only have a small window to do the burn off before the winds pick up so hopefully this week I can post some photos of what I mean.
