Crypto getting more common place in media
One of my favourite shows at the moment is the hit American drama Billions. The show pits a an uber successful rogue hedge fund manager against a US Attorney.
As we get into series 3, the main characters are looking at more ways to transfer cash that is unseen by the government as well as rewarding employees for good jobs.
Of course this is where Crypto has popped up multiple times. Most recently, the main character gives an employee a Ledger Nano with a million dollars of "crypto" for helping him in a situation.
The shows may not being talking about any specific coins or technology etc, but it is helping to drive the publics mind towards at least asking "What is this crypto stuff"
We also had the Big Bang Theory last year talk about the Bitcoin that they mined in 2012.
With more and more popular media embracing crypto, it helps to normalize the technology. This will see more people getting their feet wet in the world of crypto, just like those first people that looked around the edges of the internet back in the early 90's. Those guys were seen as rebels and nutjobs. But now who could life without the internet.
Helps plant the crypto seed in peaples minds:)

STOPI hadn’t heard of that series I must check it out
But its good to see Crypto at least getting some mention in shows these days and giving it a bit more visibility
