Hello fellow steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 150 SBD! Today you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to a continent of Australia. I am also adding a New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other steemians to which continent will NZ go to.

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Please see the Asian Sunday winner and give him support by upvoting his winner announcement post if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge: 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #6 - winner announcement!

@jon24jon24 Asian Sunday entry:

Cordillera Mountain Ranges

This photo was taken at highest peak of Mount Pulag which is the second highest mountain peak in the Philippines. We had to hike for 3 hours before getting to the campground and we had to take another 2 hours hike from the campground to the peak. It was raining throughout our hike so it wasn't pleasant as we wanted it to be but in the end, it was worth to see the beautiful sunset. We could see the Cordillera mountain ranges along with the golden clouds lying around the valleys.

This was taken at the Hunter Valley in NSW. The Hunter Valley is famous fo their wineries and this picture was taken at one of them. The moment you drive into a winery, there are rows and rows of grape plants waiting to be harvest when the time is right. It's also a great weekend gateaway from Sydney!

Simply stunning! Thank you so much for participating. Stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

This shot was taken on our first Australia Trip back in 2013. It shows the "Three Sisters" in the Blue Mountains National Park which is about 2 hours drive from Sydney. The Blue Mountains are the perfect location for hiking.

NEW ZEALAND all the way! This time an image from the coastline near Wellington. We did take the ferry from Picton to Wellington. The weather was awesome, no big waves and the north island greeted us with a beautiful landscape.

This is the old sandstone lighthouse in Booderee National Park on the NSW, South Coast.
It was actually blown up with tnt in the end as it ended up having the opposite of it's intended effect and caused more confusion for sailors than guidance.
It's one of the best places on the East Coast of NSW for whale spotting during their migratory seasons. My partner and i saw 9 in about 20 minutes a few weeks back. Glorious beasts they are!

Wow! Almost like a painting. Thank you so much for sharing and welcome back! Long time no entry from you.

Thanks mate. Yeah i've been a busy bee of late. Lots of work which is always good!

Photo taken in the Wildlife park situated in Philipp Island Victoria. Approximately 140 South east of Melbourne. I had to let him all the bag and he finished the food inside it. He looked very hungry and I think it was funny. wasn't it?

What a great entry! I love it. Stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas

Chillin' at Hooker Lake, Mount Cook, New Zealand

From the Mount Cook camp there is a 1 hour hike until you reach Hooker Lake. In 1 day we went 2 times back and forth, just to get our towels and swim shorts, so that we can take a dip in that ice cold glacier water. Worth.

What a great place to chill. Thank you for sharing such an amazing image. The winner announcement will be coming soon in a separate entry. Tomas

A sunrise will never be the same or it will never be duplicated so cherish them everytime you see it. It is not just the sunrise that will never be duplicated but also the people that you were with and the experience it gave. This photo was taken at Glass House Mountain in Queensland, Australia. Looking over at Mt. Beerwah(556m) and Mt. Tibrogargan (364m).

Wow, another amazing shot. Thanks ever so much for sharing. I will not be able to consider it for the winning picture though as it was entered after the deadline. Thank you for understanding. Tomas
