Essential Oils 101: Peppermint

in #teaching7 years ago

Hello from SUNNY SOUTH FLORIDA!

That’s right. I’ve left the tundra for the remainder of the week and couldn’t be more happy.

I had sometime to kill in the airport so thought I’d prepare another informational oil post! Today’s topic is peppermint!

If you’re going to start with one oil, I highly recommend this one. Are you a constant headache getter? This is your fix. I’m not joking.

Here are a few uses:

Use with lemon in water for a refreshing mouth rinse

Inhale deeply to wake you up on those sleepy mornings

Because if it’s cooling sensation, add it to water in a spray bottle and mist your body when overheated.

Combine with lavender and rub on the back of your neck for relaxation.

Add a few drops to cotton balls and toss in the bottom of your garbage bag for a deodorizer and to keep pests away.

I have just started using, researching and implementing essential oils when I make my homemade soap and other health and beauty products.

They are so versatile and full of natural healing.

I have to remember the inhale some on a sleepy morning!

If you have wild orange, place a drop of that with peppermint into your hands and breathe it in. It’s magical!

YES I do!! I will have to try that combination one morning when I am struggling to get going! Thank you

By the way we export essential oil from ethiopia especially black seed oil

Gotta love essential oils!!
Peppermint is definitely on my list of ones to keep around always.

Glad to know I'm NOT THE ONLY one who has a good stash of EOs!

I swear I have 4 bottles around. I use it so often it’s best not to go without!

Oh yeah... I have a box with an assortment in my cupboard. :D
