A teaching method is a planned approach to communicating a knowledge of some thing.There are different methods for teaching different subject.The nature of method change with nature of message which is conveyed.Following different approaches can be used in a method.

• Formalist approach
• Activist approach
• Appropriate approach

Formalist approach: رسمی اپروچ

                                      In this approach emphasis is given on the form.For example:   Teacher teaches the rule and application of language in daily life with different examples.In this approach deductive method is used.Teaching moved from the statement of rules to their application with the help of examples.

اس اپروچ میں قسم پر ذور دیا جا تا ہے۔مثال کے طور پر استاد طالبعلم کو زبان کی تدریس کے اصول بتا کر روز مرہ زندگی میں ان اصولوں کا استعمال مختلف مثالوں سے واضح کر تا ہے۔اس طرھ استاد اس اپروچ میں استخراجی طریقہ استعمال کرتا ہے۔وہ اصولؤں کے بیان سے شروع کر کے مثالوں کے ذریعے ان کے استعمال بتاتا ہے۔

Activist approach: سرگرم اپروچ

                                                    The activist is functional approach to the structure of language.In this approach ,first of all students  are taught what is most useful and applicable.The rare and exceptional things are left for later stages.This approach familiarizes to students with the form of language used for general communication in speech.

یہ زبان کی ساخت کی تدریس کی عملی اپروچ ہے۔اس اپروچ میں طالبعلم کو سکھایا جا تا ہے کہ کیا قابل عمل اور کا رآمد ہے۔شاذ اور غیر معمولی چیزوں کو آخری مرحلے کے لئے چھوڑ دیا جاتا ہے۔یہ اپروچ طلبا کو زبان کی اقسام سے مانوس کرواتی ہے جو تقریری اور گفتگو کی ترسیل میں کارآمد ہوں۔

Appropriate Approach:  موزوں اپروچ

                                           The effectiveness of teaching method depends upon selection of method.Either method is relative to situation or not.

                                           The strategy which a teacher use for his teaching according to content material is called appropriate approach.

                                           In this approach appropriate material are used to create proper situation .Appropriate approach varies from content to content and teacher to teacher.This approach is different with different teachers.

طریقہ تدریس کے موثر ہونے کا انحصار اس کے انتخاب پر ہے کہ آیا طریقہ صورت حال کے مطابق ہے کہ نہیں۔وہ حکمت عملی جو استاد تدریسی مواد کے مطابق کمرہ جماعت کے اندر استعما ل کر تا ہے ۔موزوں اپروچ کہلاتی ہے.اس اپروچ میں صورتحال کے مطابق تدریسی سامان استعما ل کیا جاتا ہے۔یہ اپروچ تدریسی مواد کے مطابق ہوتی ہے اس لئے ہر استاد اس کو اپنے انداز میں استعمال کر تا ہے۔مختلف اساتذہ کے لئے یہ اپروچ مختلف ہے۔
