Doodles are Fun #2 (Teacher's Day in Singapore)

The persons, who guide us on the right path and are responsible for laying the foundation of the person we have become, remain highly under-credited. Yes, I am talking about our teachers who shaped our personality and always wished for our success. Google Doodle celebrates teachers through this doodle on the eve of Teacher’s Day.

Do you remember the teacher of your first grade and the way s/he treated you? Do you remember how much anxiety you experienced and how your teacher easily made you comfortable? You remember the first time you cried in the class and hoped for your favorite teacher to be around. Hey, and the PE Teacher who played with you and always made you laugh. What about the teacher who was your first choice if you needed advice?

31 August is Teacher’s Day in Singapore and it is the perfect opportunity to say “Xiexie”, “Terima Kasih” or “Thank You” to all the teachers who were a guiding force in your life.

#Teachers have always inspired us to become humble and noble beings and taught us to respect others. We all have a favorite teacher who went the extra mile to teach us a particular lesson in Physics; or who helped us cope with our classmates; or who took us under his/ her wing; or the one who organized the lessons in a manner to teach us the importance of unity. Don't you think they should get at least some acknowledgement for their work. Go on; call your teachers. Tell them you miss them. Tell them what you are doing and make them proud. Thank them for helping you become what you are. They deserve it.
