Crypto Toolbox ($TBOX) Special Announcement

Not that long ago Crypto Toolbox made the decision to make all our tools only available under a monthly subscription VIP package. I will be honest and tell you that we dragged my feet a bit in that implementation. Something just didn’t seem right to me with the decision. I think it was the fact that I was quickly realizing that less people would get to benefit from our tools because not everyone has the money to spend on them. Over this past week I brainstormed with our moderators about how we can make our tools free to everyone but still keep TBOX as a utility token for the project. I think you will be happy with the new direction the project is taking.

The first decision that I made is that all the tools will. So if you want to check out our dashboard and tools all you need to do is hit our login area and login with your telegram account. While you have access to every tool now, going forward there may be tools that have optional add-on’s or fees. These additional options and/or fees will be paid for with TBOX. So this is one utility for the TBOX token. We will be discussing a few more uses for the token in a bit. For example, when we release the waves escrow tool there will be a fee for each transaction that will be paid in TBOX.

The next decision that I made was that we will be creating a coin market cap type site that will be the home of TBOX and it’s tools. I want this site to become a well known go-to site just like CMC is now. However there will be several differences. We will list many more lower/micro cap coins. Our site will also house all of our tools. I am not going to release too many details on this now but my plan is to start with Waves tokens. So initially this site will list all active waves tokens and allow you to filter on several important columns. After we get the site up and running with Waves tokens our second test bed will be an exchange like STEX. We will us the api of the exchange to pull in all the data and list all tokens being traded on STEX. Using this type of setup tokens may get listed on the site without any project ever even requesting it. However it does not provide a detailed amount of information like social media links, announcement links, websites and etc. So we will allow projects to contact us via a form with further information about their projects. Then after we get things working on STEX we will keep moving on to other exchanges.

As this site grows we will start to offer some advertising on the site. I have several ideas for advertising but they all revolve around the TBOX token. This will be the second utility use of our token. I have not decided if it will be a straight flat rate TBOX cost to advertise on the site or if we may possibly take an online auction type of avenue where advertisers bid for the space with the TBOX token. Regardless this will be another great use for our token once the site starts to grow. Many projects will be interested in getting their coin or token in front of potential buyers.

One of my main targets with this new site is to make it a one stop shop. So in addition to having coins listed and tools available, I want to also make a crypto events calendar. I will use some api’s to pull in data from other popular calendars at first and then of course also allow people to submit events. We will also have the option to advertise using TBOX to promote an event and get it listed higher in the rankings, like a sponsored listing.

At this time I do not plan on moving away from Waves. The one thing that I wish we had with our token though is a way to reward those that hold. I do not believe you can stake a waves asset other then waves itself at this time. I have heard some rumors that there are some changes coming soon with the RIDE language that may change this. If and when it does I hope to be able to offer some sort of reward to those of you that hold TBOX. If for some reason that does not happen later this year we will explore the possibility of creating our own utility to reward our holders. I think we could do a daily airdrop of some percentage to each address that holds TBOX. This would essentially have similar results as staking. This would also be a new tool that we could offer to other waves projects for a fee in TBOX or on a per transaction fee.

We still plan to lower our max supply over time. I know we have been stating this for some time now and have not burned anything to date. Well this is due to the fact that sales of VIP and individual tools were non-existent. So lets do something about that now! Tonight I will burn 5 BILLION TBOX (Burn txid: Ducjf3rvwNN6crz5aWfwmVPBVtRUXFL3nQnCbedjm3rr) tokens to kick things off with this new announcement. Our goal is to eventually burn at least 20 billion total. As we start to receive back more TBOX from add-ons, fees and advertising we will burn 50% of that until we reach our desired max supply to hopefully start trading on the full sat market one day.

We have really covered a lot here today. I will be updating our road map and whitepaper over the next few days to reflect these planned changes. When I am designing this website and tools going forward I plan to do so in a way where I can hire people and give them access to just the parts of the sites they will need to work in. This is important because as this grows there is no way I will be able to manage everything myself any longer. I am very excited about this new direction and cannot wait to start delivering on these new promises.
