Taxila is famous for its stone history and is located near Rawalpindi District. It's called Taxila Tehsil of Rawalpindi District!

Rawalpindi is a famous district of Pakistan located in the capital Islamabad,

you can see many historical places like museums and other famous places in Taxia and Rawalpindi.

Its was a famous city of the kingdom of Gandhara!

It is also called the city of cut stones you see the construction made of cut stones in my pictures which I have shared.
It was the Buddhist center from the 5th century to 6 6th century, Buddist was here for a long time.

while exploring Buddhism in Taxila you will find many statues of Budda in the Museum of Taxila.
