Tattooing hands, foo dog from today

Had the pleasure of tattooing this Foo Dog also known as a Shishi lion on a clients hand today.

Tattooing hands are generally seen as taboo unless the wearer already has a good number of tattoos and is aware of the lifestyle choice they're making. Not being able to conceal your tattoos can hinder certain paths in your life, right or wrongly, it's just the way things work in todays world.

he already had a Japanese themed sleeve so after we talked it over it was a pretty easy decision to make.
Decided on black and grey and kept with the Japanese theme of his sleeve. A lot of fun to tattoo.
