Kitchen away from home
Before watching a 3-hour movie with my all-time buddy, we filled up our tummies with the Filipino home cooked meals at Kusinang Pinoy.
With about $2, I already had a complete meal of grilled chicken, rice and iced tea. This was quite reasonable. The chicken's taste was rich. There was no need to dip in a soy sauce, in which Filipinos were fond of doing.
We also ordered Nilagang Baka or Beef Soup with Vegetables and Calamares or Deep Fried Squid Rings.
The calamares was not overcooked and gunmy. It was perfectly deep-fried.
Happy kid excited to finish off lunch to watch a movie.
Love lots,
@wandergirl ❤
