Romantic Date:  Outskirt Eatery

Hello dear food lovers. Last week I had the chance to try out this cafe called Outskirt Eatery. I and @kilathecla was on our way back from Putatan town when we saw the place. Place looks interesting from the outside, so we stopped by for dinner. It's located along Putatan-Ramayah road about 30 minutes from Kota Kinabalu city. They serve no pork here.

The place is located on a corner lot giving it a spacious outside and inside dining area.

Here's how it looks like inside. I especially love these vases with beautiful flowers on each dining tables. Though it is just an artificial flower, it still looks so romantic.

Here are some menus showing delicious food available in the restaurant. They serve a variety of Asian, western and traditional cuisine.

After looking through the menu, we decided to share this Fishy Skippy Combo. It's a combination deep-fried fish, onion rings, potato chips and Salad. That deep-fried fish was crunchy on the outside but soft-fresh on the inside. Dipping potato chips into that homemade mayonise makes you non-stop eating until it's finished.

This is a big meal and can feed for two. This meal costs RM27.90 (6.78 USD) per served. Considered cheap and reasonable price.

For drinks, I ordered this refreshing Coconut Shake which priced RM6.90 (1.68 USD).

@kilathecla ordered this fresh Coconut which priced RM3.50 (0.85 USD) each.

Overall, we enjoyed our meal here. The food is nice, the service is good and the place is very clean. I highly recommended this place to couple out there to have that romantic dinner at an affordable price. I certainly will come here again with Mr. hubby soon!
