Food Sharing #92 - La Renaissance Patisserie and Cafe @ The Rocks, Australia
Hi Everyone,
I'm sure once in awhile, you crave for something sweet. I love desserts but knowing that I should have a healthy diet, I often skip dessert when we have a meal and only probably give myself a treat once a week. This once a week opportunity has came and my other half bought home a box of macarons from our favourite cake shop La Renaissance.
The cakes here are SUPER sweet but yummy but their macarons are just as nice. The packaging is simple but enough for these yummy things. He bought 7 enough for everyone to share in the family and the box holds 7. The flavours he bought was 2x pistachio, salted caramel, rose, passionfruit, lemon and vanilla.
As the macaroons are made in house, they were very fresh unlike some of the ones you can get at the supermarket. The filling was the right amount so you will just want to eat more and more. It's $18.50 for a box of 7 and considered expensive considering you can macarons cheaper at other stores. The location also is a factor as it is located at The Rocks in Sydney. Do you like macarons?

wow they look yummi. But as you mentioned, the price is heavy. Probably half of it goes for the packaging.
Anyway, great review and very good photos.
It looks quite delicious. But that is probably too much for me to eat.

macaroons!!!!! I only have tasted one french macaroons in my lifetime, a friend had given me a box with 3 pieces left inside. It was heavenly! Gotta get some when I get the chance.
