This is my first post here @tasteem. I want introduce a very special and probably the best japanese restaurant in Zurich/Switzerland. You know in Zurich they have a lots of asian, japanese and others locations. But my favorit is the one and only KAI SUSHI on the Lessingstreet near by the shopmall Sihlcity in the Brunau quarter of Zurich. Very easy to find and you can go with the tram, bus or with the car. Probably you not will find a car park:((

The reason because I think that KAI - it means come togheter - SUSHI the best Japanese Restaurant in town for me is, is when you are welcome with a smile from the manager and the waitress, than the first step is done and I forgot my horrible day that I've got. Now is the right moment of relaxing and enyoing. And this was yesterday evening at 10pm. Yeah yesterday was a terrible and a long workday. Without a lunch only a small sandwich. And now is weekend, Yeepee!!!

The style of this restaurant and the small bar is modern and with precious material furnished. Nice table on Italian marmoreal with brass, all seats are off wood and in black. Every table is with a nice candellight and they gives a wonderful atmosphere in this restaurant. In the background you can here cool lounge music. Everytime I was there I'm coll down and for me is a meditation moment.

To the food I only can say:
Great, delicious, fresh, tasty, amazing and of high quality!!! The freshness of the fish, ingredians and the beef is so flaworful you can't imagine. All this are a la minute produced and coocked. The dishes are curated and with love composed. Like a picture of a great artist. The menu is clearly and easy because all dishes are with a photo and you can see how it looks like. When I was on the first time in KAI SUSHI I had problems to order. I had no idea to chose, but the friendly waitress helps me. In the last visits I only order the drink and the rest like yesterday, choose the manager Chris. He knows now my taste and this is awesome:)

Hallo Tasteemianer

Dies ist mein erster Post auf tasteem.com. Ich möchte Euch ein sehr spezielles und vielleicht das beste Japanische Restaurant in Zürich/Schweiz vorstellen. Ich kann Euch sagen, in Zürich hat es massenhaft viele asiatische, japanische und andere Lokale. Aber mein Favorit ist sicher das KAI SUSHI an der Lessingstrasse nahe beim Einkaufszentrum Sihlcity im Brunau Quartier in Zürich. Sehr einfach zu finden. Entweder mit Tram, Bus oder Auto. Leider hat es nicht so viele Parkplätze davor.

Der Grund wieso ich das KAI - übersetzt auf Deutsch sich zusammen treffen - SUSHI als das beste Japanische Restaurant in der Stadt finde ist, dass wenn der Manager und das Servicepersonal dich mit einem riesengrossen Smile empfängt und dich beim Namen kennt, dann die Liaison perfect . Das ist der richtige Ort zum Verweilen und geniessen. Gestern war ich wieder mal ca. 22 Uhr bei ihnen. Gestern war auch einen riesen Stress und einen langen Arbeitstag, mit einer kurzen Pause und einem Sandwich zum Zmittag. War nicht so toll. Aber nun ist Weekend, Jawoll!!!

Die Einrichtung des Restaurants und Bars ist modern und mit kostbaren Materialien bestückt. Z.b. die Tische aus Italienischem Marmor mit Messing umfasst, alle Stühle aus Holz und in schwarz. Auf jedem Tisch kleine Windlichter, dass dem Restaurant eine sehr warme und angenehme Atmosphäre verleiht. Im Background läuft coole Lounge-Musik. Jedesmal wenn ich dort bin, kann ich relaxen, so wie wenn ich meditieren würde.

Zum Essen kann ich nur sagen:
Erstklassich, deliziös, frisch, genussvoll, unglaublich und von hoher Qualität!!! Die Frische vom Fisch, der Zutaten und vom Fleisch ist so ausgezeichnet, das könnt ihr Euch gar nicht vorstellen. Alles wird a la Minute produziert und gekocht. Alle Teller werden mit viel Liebe und Detail gestaltet. Das Auge ist immer mit! Die Speisekarte ist klar, weil alle Speisen wunderschön fotographiert sind und man sieht genau wie die Speisen dann aussehen werden.

Als ich zum ersten Mal im KAI SUSHI war, hatte ich recht Mühe was zu bestellen. Aber die freundlichen Mitarbeiterinnen halfen mir sehr. Mittlerweile bestelle ich nur die Getränke, das Essen sucht der Manager Chris aus. Er weiss was ich gerne mag. Das macht ein Besuch zum Erlebnis!!!

Wenn Ihr Euch in Zürich verläuft, dann unbedingt das KAI SUSHI an der Lessingstrasse besuchen. Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen.

GYOZA / BEEF SHORT RIB / VOLCANO ROLLS (warm) / TUNA FOIE GRAS and SHAKE with Jasmintea!! It was delicious and it was a little bit to much. Sorry, this time without dessert...

KAI SUSHI is a place to go with friends - they have a privat room -, with family - with childs- , it's perfect for a business lunch or in the evening wonderful for a candlenight dinner
