Cheap and Fabulous @ Chinese Restaurant in Pai

See you again in the restaurant review contest @tasteem, today I’d like to take you guys to the Chinese restaurant in Pai. (Chinese Food Yunan Style)
Well, I live in Pai District, Maehongson Province Thailand 🇹🇭. Most of my restaurant review is about the restaurant around here 😁😁😁 Soooo many more of them left for me to explore you could not imagine.
Weeks ago I and my friend went to the Chinese Village to visit our friend who lives there, on the way back we kind of hungry so we had stopped by at the restaurant beside the road.
“THE FRIENDSHIP : MITTAPHAP PAI CHINESE RESTAURANT”
The Environment
Great name though, this is my first time to eat here, let’s take a look at the place first.
The restaurant designed to a U shape with the fish pond at the middle, it’s kind of Chinese feng sui I guess.
Simply made Chinese style wooden tables and seats with red plastic on the top of the tables to make it easy to clean, make you feel like you are in China. This restaurant quite busy that time even it was about 1:30 pm. There were some Chinese group tour and a group of big bikers make the place look very crowded that day. But don’t worry, this place always has a table for you.
The Menu
The menu came with a big piece of paper, showed the names and pictures of foods makes it easy to decide what you like to have.
The Food
This time we had such a short time because we have to do some work after so we have to picked some quick meals.
Usually when I come here with my family or big group of friends, I always take the big set of recommendation menu which is my favorite meal here, if I come here again next time I will write a review about it.
This time is for the Cheap & Fabulous? Totally Possible!!!
Yum Saw Noy (Chinese Spicy Salad)
Don’t really know what it made from but the tase is good, looks like papaya salad but more crunchy.
Fried Egg Noodle
This one was for my friend, actually it was bigger than this, I’ve forgot to take photo of it before she started to eat because she was so hungry😂 It was delicious, she said.
Yunan Noodle
This one was mine, it had a good taste already but I like to add some chili to make it more tasty and spicy.
My Opinion
- The Price, totally 175 Baht included a bottle of water, it was a reasonable price.
- The Place, Big space and clean good for family or group of friends.
- The Service, take some time to have a waitress to take an order but the food didn’t take long to be served even when busy time.

It's restaurant less but the set up looks like a good tourist destination...I am in awe looking at first few photographs....untill I saw the food menu which makes me more hungry to visit....though I cost more 😄 but love to spend complete time on this set up food and location...👌

Thank you for stopping by, the restaurant has so many of real Chinese taste menu but we didn’t have enough time. And yes the Chinese Village is one of the tourists places in Pai that you shouldn’t miss.
Wish I could visit that place ...looks fabulous to me
