Recently opened, the Sunset Beach Lounge was born from the idea of Fulvio and Michelle, an Italian-American couple who arrived in Panama a few years ago. Located in the center of Las Lajas, a few minutes’ drive from the famous beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean, it’s the perfect place to stop for a refreshing break.

Bar, restaurant and pub “all in one”, it offers an interesting menu of food and drinks to be consumed on-site in the front air-conditioned bar room, or at the tables located in the fancy backyard area, surrounded by a relaxing atmosphere. Moreover, music cheers up your evenings spent with family and friends at the Sunset Beach Lounge!

The cuisine of this restaurant is as simple as tasty: in addition to the possibility of trying a rich variety of hamburgers and Italian-style sandwiches, you can taste some special dishes based on meat, fish and vegetables as well as some typical recipes of the Italian culinary tradition, like “lasagna”.

In the Sunset Beach Lounge menu, the "resbalosas" are very popular. They are four delicious miniature cheeseburgers. The “Gordita” hamburger with bacon and caramelized onions and the “Sunset Burger”, with original “peperonata” inside.

Among the list of sandwiches, there is plenty of tasty choices, such as the "Dos Paises" sandwich, with melted Brie cheese, Spanish prosciutto (the famous “Jamon Serrano”), and champignon mushrooms. All heated on the plate. A real treat!

If you are thirsty, don't worry! Natural juices prepared with the excellent tropical fruits, milkshakes, cocktails, local beers, and classic drinks are at your disposal.

Di recente apertura, il Sunset Beach Lounge nasce dall’idea di Fulvio e Michelle, una coppia italo-americana approdata in quel di Panama qualche anno fa. Situato nel centro di Las Lajas, a pochi minuti di macchina dalla celebre spiaggia bagnata dalle acque dell’Oceano Pacifico, è il luogo perfetto dove fermarsi per una pausa ristoratrice.

Bar, ristorante e pub in un solo locale, offre un’interessante menù di cibo e bevande da consumare in loco all’interno del rinfrescante ambiente climatizzato, oppure ai tavoli sul retro situati nell’elegante e moderno dehor, immersi in un’atmosfera rilassante e informale. Anche la musica vivace rallegra le serate trascorse in compagnia al Sunset Beach Lounge!

La cucina di questo locale è tanto semplice quanto gustosa: oltre alla possibilità di provare una ricca varietà di hamburger e di panini all’italiana, si possono degustare alcuni piatti speciali a base sia di carne che di pesce (ma anche di verdure), nonché alcune ricette tipiche della tradizione culinaria italiana, come ad esempio le lasagne.

Nel menù del Sunset Beach Lounge sono ormai celebri i “resbalosas”, ovvero alcuni buonissimi cheeseburger in miniatura; l’hamburger “Gordita” con la pancetta e le cipolle caramellate e il “Sunset Burger”, con all’interno la peperonata doc.

Anche fra la lista dei panini abbondano diverse opzioni gustosissime, come ad esempio il “Dos Paises”, con al suo interno formaggio Brie fuso, prosciutto crudo spagnolo (il famoso Jamon Serrano) e funghi champignon. Il tutto passato sulla piastra. Una vera delizia!

Se invece hai sete, non ti preoccupare! Succhi di frutta naturali preparati con l’eccellente materia prima tropicale, frappè, cocktails, birre locali e bevande classiche, sono a tua disposizione.

Tutto sicuramente da provare, visti e considerati i prezzi assolutamente modici e la cordialità dello staff! Non il lunedì, però, che è il giorno di chiusura.
