Full Review of the English Inn - A complete experience for loved ones and lovers
Going out to eat should be a very special experience. To invest both time and money in a unique experience should be a pleasure, not a stress or a pain. I highly recommend The English Inn to anyone looking for a fine dining experience with loved ones.
From the very entrance of the establishment, we could tell that we were in for a treat. With metal statues and succulent growing board, they have an outdoor eating section with flaming glass tables complete with a water fountain and babbling brook; this place is the real deal.
We began our experience outside, ordering drinks from the menu. The service was on point, with two servers covering our table, making sure that everything was taken care of.
An fine array of different drinks was offered from the following drink menu:
Rain was threatening and starting to sprinkle, so we went inside after ordering drinks. The restaurant is large and deep, with lots of indoor seating despite not looking all that big from the outside. The menu was daunting, with a wide array of delicacies, and every two entreés get a free lobster tail, so make sure to bring a date!
For your pleasure, I have included the following menu:
The seven of us ordered a wide selection, with only a single repeat with the grilled salmon. I had the Hot Bacon Shrimp dish, two others had fish, halibut and blackened lake perch; a beef wellington and a full rack of ribs rounded out our table.
Six of seven opted for salads, with many choosing the famous spinach salad with hot bacon dressing, but I went in for the baked french onion soup, which turned out delicious. we were given plenty of time to eat each course while we chatted away the evening, and never felt rushed.
When the entreés came, everyone graciously put up with my picture taking. It was just that time of the evening when the camera wants to start flashing everybody in the face, but all were very patient while I got pictures of each meal for all of you. It was worth it because the plating was fantastic. We eagerly dug in.
The lobster tails were pre-opened, and so were easy to enjoy, and everyone had good things to say about their food. The only complaint I heard was that the sauce on the Beef Wellington was not au jus as expected but a sweeter cherry sauce.
After a delicious meal that only about half of us could finish, the rain had passed and so we went outside to enjoy some dessert type activities. The drink of the evening was a Brandy Alexander (although I did see one Grasshopper) which were all strong and served in large, full glasses.
We continued to have a blast until it was late, dark and cold. We headed for the door smiling and satisfied. The English Inn is a memory that we will hang on to.
For those of you who are interested in replicating part of the experience at home, The English Inn offers their famous hot bacon dressing, to go.

@tasteem, I broke the rule and used a promoter bot, I didn't fully read the rules about the scoring system. I did select the 9%, so I thought it would be okay since it was participating in the project. I wanted more people to see it quickly because I submitted near the end of the cycle. Please forgive me.
thank you @tasteem for making an amazing contest event ... for the steemians.

I was very sumptuous! I like the word you used, and so many of us did choose seafood. We cannot experience such wonderful dining everyday, so we must appreciate it all the more when we can.
