Bogor Layer Cake & Asinan - Indonesian Authentic Takeaway

Last Saturday, was really still in the ambience of the Indonesian public holiday. My mother and I went to Bogor, West Java by train. After we arrived there, it was too crowded everywhere. We only went to the area near the train station. And still in Bogor Train Station which is located in Mayor Aking Street we bought some Bogor’s Authentic Take away.
The store was located near the train’s platform. It was really crowded that time. The store was not big but it had lots of customers. All were craving of the layer’s cake which was sold here.

Because I also bought a piece of the durian pancake, I ate in the train station. The taste of the durian pancake liked it usually, sweet and felt so durian. But it was not as perfect as I had imagined.

This was the legendary layer cake “Sangkuriang”

The layer cake we bought. The cake was really soft and easy to swallow, the flavor we bought was cheese. We loved it much! Perfect combination of taro and cheese, delicious! No wonder so many customers came here to buy, each of them bought many of it.

This was the authentic Bogor’s asinan, the very tasty one.

It had many fruits inside. There were salak, lobi-lobi, kedondong, mango, bengkoang, pineapple and some peanuts. The taste was sour, sweet and spicy. So fresh and yummy, perfect!

Actually I also bought other takeaways and snacks this time, but unfortunately I didn’t take any picture of the store. All the take aways we bought

We will be back to Bogor soon to buy many take aways here!
