Kolak ~ Soul Generating Dessert
Hello Friend Taste, this time I will share a little knowledge about My favorite dessert.
My favorite dessert is the name kolak, compote is a food from Indonesia with the basic ingredients of banana or jackfruit boiled with coconut milk and sugar, then served with steamed glutinous rice.
This compote is very familiar with the atmosphere of the month of Ramadan, which is made almost every time for dessert to break the fast.
And this compote also has a lot of philosophies, among others, as a reminder media for a time when humans would die and die in the grave.
The compote that I ate this time came from one of the stalls in my village, namely Blang Dalam Tunong village, Nisam District, North Aceh Regency, Aceh.
The compote in my village is known for its distinctive taste and is certainly delicious. So for friends who want to try it please visit the place of my hometown, surely you will be addicted. For very cheap prices ranging from Rp.5,000 - Rp.8,000 for one portion.
