Tarot Tuesday - The Three Course Meal
Hello Friends
This is @phillyc with this weeks installment of Tarot Tuesday. It's a cool collection of readings each week that was started by @traciyork. if you would like to see more readings - check out the weekly wrap up on the @steemittarot account.
I think I am going to keep it nice and simple this week, well that's my intention anyhow. So here's a reading for you - some words of inspiration and hope. I have gone with a three course meal as the structure of my reading. I have no idea why, that's just how it happened 😂
Thank you for tuning in, beautiful humans.
Entree
The Wheel of Fortune is a fan blowing us a wind of new hope. This new hope has already been active for a little while, it's an influence on the present situation. The Wheel is a Jupiter card, indicating the urge to expand and grow and to want more. This energy has a great generosity, yet it doesn't think about the long term - that is more Saturn's role. Jupiter loves to meet new people, learn new things, and seek deeper meaning in life.
This card has already been eaten, and we are now hungry for the main course which is the Sun. The Sun is overall a more balanced and heart centered approach. It's certainly a bit 'meatier' compared to the fantasy realms of the Wheel of Fortune.
(I just use the meat term for descriptive purposes, I don't actually eat meat 😂)
The Main Course
Of this card based meal is the number 19 card - The Sun. Again it's looking quite sunny, and it generally indicates good news and enjoyable situations. Solar energy has similarities and differences to Jupiter energy, let's look at that briefly.
Jupiter could be considered the benevolent king, and lives in a realm of grand concepts and gestures. It has a connection to higher energies, so it's harder to pin down and can be a bit vague. Jupiter is the wise and kind King, one end of a polarity containing his brother Mars - who is the King who goes to war to break things apart and impose limitations.
The Sun energy is not vague at all, it is an unmistakable presence and has a very life giving effect. You definitely know when you are in the sunshine. You definitely know when you are with someone who is embodying the solar energy as well - it feels great!
It's interesting to note that many Kings have associated themselves with the Solar archetype. The Sun is the essential life accessible on all levels. It's the radiance of a human being living from their heart.
The Sun as the central point in our chest, reaches all other chakras and energies in the torso. It is a connector of the different levels of existence. The solar heart chakra is associated with salvation - through this act of seeing through the heart, and not putting one beings magnificence above anyone elses.
Dessert
Savoring the full flavors of the Sun Card, we can relax into our chairs and find a little more pleasure even in our pleasant fullness. What fortunate lives we lead!
The Page of Cups is a tender reminder of gentleness and love. Go and pat the cat or the dog for a while, and enjoy those soft and lovely feelings. Send your friends some memes or emojis just to let them know your thinking of them with a pleasant feeling in your heart. Within the context of this warm solar energy we can all let our guard down a bit and let our inner child out. This is one of the themes of The Sun as well, feeling so un-threatened by life that we just want to play. Enjoy!
This page is also the messenger of the Cups (emotional) Kingdom. So now is a good time to let someone know you love them. Enjoy the sweetness of revealing yourself and your emotions. Enjoy the sweetness of sharing.
Much Love
