Tarot Tuesday: The Culprit Can Be You! 😳
This is a short post about an event I experienced that made me change the way I see cards that suggest shady people entering your life or situation. Generally when people see those cards, they think it's an external event but sometimes that may not be the case.
Honestly, I'm not too comfortable relating something that shows my failings as a person but this might give insight to other readers and those who like to receive metaphysical readings.
It happened at the time when I've been studying cardomancy (playing card divination) for about a year. I remember the card for the day was the Knave of Spades whose tarot equivalent is the Page of Swords.
In the cardomancy system I study, the Knave of Spades signifies a deceitful person or a thief. In a reading, it can be taken as a warning to be wary of deceit/being deceived or to watch over one's belongings.
So the day went on with me keeping an eye over my stuff and being careful of what other people say to me and at the end of the day, I was glad no thing of mine got pilfered and nobody was able to take advantage of me with deception.
On the low cabinet beside my bed was a pretty book pouch. It was well-designed and I liked it a lot.
Also, it wasn't mine. The card didn't signify a thief or deceitful person coming into my life that day. It was pointing at me. I was the culprit. 😳
Certainly not something I'm proud of, looking back and I have matured since then. So next time you see a card depicting a shady person, try to check yourself. The culprit could be you. 👀
