Tarot Pronunciation
Tarot Pronunciation when did people start pronouncing this as Tuh row??? Watched a few videos and several people pronouncing it this way, I've been hearing it pronounced Tah Row for 50 plus years. Did someone hear someone pronounce author Henry David Thoreau name and go NOPE Tuh Row from now on? Boggles my mind, and I'm from Brooklyn where mispronouncing things is an art form !

This is funny! I am used to people pronouncing things differently. It seems to me that there is no such thing as the proper pronunciation for anything. English is my second language. When I try to learn new words or ones that I find difficult it really becomes frustrating. Accents vary literally from town to town and everyone insists that theirs is the right way. Madness.
I am not even sure how I pronounce tarot in English. I can't tell the difference between ah and uh. and in my native langugae, you would pronounce the t at the end. :D
