Who are realy afected by tariffes

Does tariff work?

I'm sure they are many people like me who ask themselves these question. Let us start and look at North Korea which has a long trading embargo with the US and other countries. Even though it can not trade with many countries officially it has been able to purchase nuclear materials in oder to pursue their their nuclear program. It has been revealed that the North Korean government has trained hackers whom they use to hack financial institutions and crypto in order to get financies for their program.

The second one is Cuba. The US put a trade embargo on Cuban goods October 1960 and is still standing even today. The reason for these trade embargo was because the Cuban government was nationalizing every company in Cuba. They are showing no signs of changing these and they continue to have the best health care. They just finished building a new railway line which was built by a Chinese company.

They are many more countries which find themselves in these dilemma and many of them choose to find a way around this tariff than to give in. The ordinary citizens are the ones who are affected by this tariff. At the end these people decide to look for better life in the US or Europe.

In your own understanding does these tariff fulfills their purpose or they just increase immigrant to the US and Europe.
