Of course, our journalist accepted. He crossed the main door of the prison at 11:00 p.m. accompanied by the guards. He had reached Mr. Robert’s office before the guards leaded him to a room where there was a table and two chairs. He had to wait for the history professor to come.
John sat in the room, and he prepared his sheet of paper in addition to his pens and a tiny audio recorder as well. After that, he started a browse through the pages of the old version magazine which already dealt with this topic. Unlike the editor in chief thinks, John only brought the event from a website without any review or a quick reading. This time, the matter was critical for Mr. Adams. Before the murderer came, John had started reading about the crime.
The report was extremely short and took place in the lower quarter of the page. Attached to the article, there was an old photo of the history professor. This last looked so elegant and self-confident at the same time. The title was like that: “a history professor who teaches in the literature university crushes his son’s head with a hammer”. In the few sentences, John understood that the killer father was called Edward Montez, he was a widow. Concerning his carrier, he was known for his talent and the mutual respect he had with his colleagues. The father was living peacefully until the dark night came. In that night, he decided to buy a heavy hammer. He got in the room of his ten years old son and started crushing his son’s head to the point it becomes like crumb.
Without any reason!
The witnesses, who are Edward’s neighbors, said they had heard the sound of heavy successive hits coming from an apartment followed by his loud laughs before they heard the same scream again. After this, they broke into his apartment to find him drowned in blood.
The neighbors were stood confused, but next they called the police. Once the police reached the house, they caught the victim’s dad who behaved as if nothing happened. He didn’t even resist. Edward acknowledged his terrible crime. From that day, he remained in a deep silence he never quit even when the judge pronounced the sentence.
In fact, murder always happens everywhere in the world, but the weird thing this time is that nobody knows why. To be more lucid, why did a history teacher choose to end his life and his son’s as well with this atrocious way?
The medical examination proved that Montez wasn’t crazy. On the contrary, he was sane. If only he had been sick, then everybody won’t be confused anymore. Edward Montez killed his son and he was aware of his sin. He bought the hammer indeed, made sure of her heaviness. Then, he sneaked into his little son’s room. Moreover, he felt no mercy for his kid, he smashed his head with the hammer.
Then, the legit doctor came to inform that he didn’t find any single bone in the son’s skull which is still intact.
The little victim was buried in the family’s graveyard without his head. His father has spent months in jail without speaking. Unfortunately, John has to confront a very hard challenge because he only has one hour to reveal the dark secret.
