Normally I sit down to write a report on who won the contest!

That's it. I cover the facts, send out the money and I love running them.

About a day ago I sat down to write how many votes came in on the contest blog called, takemyvotes-48hr-frontrunner-and-comment-contest, and I was writing a play by play version of the process covering the results and prize payment as I did each step.

• I had a screen shot of the contest post
• I had the Return on Investment shot of how many participants @booster has...
• Snapped a screen shot of me sending a payment to @booster
  then things started to tank
• I was going to send 250 SBD to @booster but Bittrex 🔫 won't let me. "Must Verify"
• I sent the 50 SBD to @booster but sent it to reward the wrong post. 👨 🔫
• Doubled down and sent 100 SBD to @booster to reward the correct contest post 👍
• then all I needed to do was wait...
• watch all the heavy hitters who noticed that 100 SBD to come vote before @booster does

So I hit "Post"

The error popped up saying Steeemit Could Not Post

• I know I should not have, but I hit post again. And here we are...

I don't like an untidy blog stream, but mine...

I had a post called "to be decided" (the mistake double post)

The blog post covering the results of the contest (AMC - all mistakes combined)

And below that was the contest that started two days earlier.

Back to bed 💤

When I got up and saw @miniature-tiger's post...
Stats and charts showing profits for voters who join in...
My next post became a "Bits and Pieces" rant on their great job.

(which I could never do)

As you can see, Tiger makes it visual. Earlier votes, bigger rewards. The best curation bux when voting near 30 minute mark. The Frontrunners and Booster both come in and add money on top of your votes when you participate.

I resteemed it, easy to find, and vote on. Because you never can tell when @booster will drop a bomb on a do-gooder ;)

Explaining the rules, and how things work has been disastrous at times. Early on, I spent more time explaining what I meant than having fun with the contest. I have it down a bit better now.

The trick I used was to make contests more simple and easier to participate in.
