I was unfaithful to my convictions: today I support Trump

All my life I have liked to be informed about all the news aspects. From the sporting events, through entertainment, to even the technological and scientific. And of course, I also like to inform myself about political events, not only national, but also international. I remember seeing all the programs of CNN En Español for many years, and I am coming to some episodes related to the topic of which I want to express my opinion today.

For seven continuous years, the people of Syria have been subjected to the dictatorial regime of Bashar Al-Assad. The terrifying situation in that Arab country is well known to all. Not only because of the existence of the Islamic terrorist group ISIS (a rebel group formed after the start of the civil war), but also with the war led by men of Al-Assad, which seems intent on destroying entire Syria. Every day bombing, viciously perpetrated murders against innocent people and attacks with chemical weapons have left more than 500,000 people dead. The situation is truly impossible to imagine. And it should be noted that all this is also under the support of the Kremlin, the narco-dictatorship of Venezuela and practically all current communist governments.

In view of the most recent chemical weapons attacks in Damascus - which has left almost a thousand civilian deaths - the president of the United States, Donald Trump, together with his counterparts in France, Emmanuel Macron; and Theresa May, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom; Last Friday, they launched an air attack on the military bases where these weapons of evil are manufactured and executed, which have shed the blood of innocent people.

I am not an expert on these issues, and I would be lying if I came here and I started to explain what are the reasons why these kinds of things happen in full 2018. I will not speak as if I were a scholar in the subject, the only thing I can To say is that, although I firmly believe that war, under no circumstances, should be the solution to the problems between nations, on this occasion, I must be unfaithful to my convictions and recognize that I support the actions taken against the regime of Bashar Al- Assad. You can not allow innocent people to continue dying. Because, as I said, this problem is not recent, it is seven years in which absolutely every day people die in the hands of these tyrants. It is inconceivable.

We must put an end once and for all to the criminals who, rather than governing, are subjecting our peoples to a slow death. Today is Syria, tomorrow may be my beloved and much longed for Venezuela, then it could be Iran, then China and one by one until the end of little by little with the whole world. We do not want more deaths, we want imperiously to live in a world without dictatorships, without men who obtain the power and wealth of a people and force them to live in misery, in hunger and despair. No more!

I do not know if from these actions against the Syrian regime will be unleashed the so-mentioned - and sometimes seems to be highly anticipated - World War III, since the government of Vladimir Putin will not stay with his arms crossed when he sees that one of his Amiguitos falls from power, what I do know is that we are the ones who have the option to choose wisely who are the characters that are going to govern us for a period of time. And I hope that from now on, under no circumstances, will we give him the absolute power of our nations.

However, despite supporting the actions before Damascus, I would like to say that peace must be the first, second and third way to seek conciliation between peoples. We can not spend our lives fighting each other to see who has more power than the other. We must work day by day for and for peace from small actions to the greatest ones. We can not allow hatred to take over the world, because if that happens, the life we ​​know today will be over.
