Dictator whores episode 2 - Eva Bartlett propagandist for the Assad regime

An analytical observation of self-proclaimed journalist Eva Bartlett during her presentation as part of the Assad regime's propaganda effort at the United Nations in December 2016. Intended as a PR campaign aimed at absolving the Assad dictatorship and the Russian state of its continued war crimes in Aleppo that Winter, the press conference also platformed delegates from the Hands Off Syria Coalition and the US Peace Council (both organisations endorsed by the Assad regime) alongside Bartlett—a semi-obscure Canadian blogger whom Syrian activists believe to be a propagandist working for Bashar al Assad.

This film is also a comparative analysis, featuring on-the-ground testimony from Syrian civil society activists who were resident in East Aleppo during the regime-imposed siege and assault, as well as intermittent commentary and videographic documentation of political action from Syrian democracy activists and found footage filmed by regime security personnel and Russian-produced pro-regime war propaganda.
