Why cheat

No matter how perfect a relationship seems there is always some level of imperfections, this imperfections may come as having a cheating partner...
I know it hurts to see someone whom you so much love, one whom you totally trust, one whom you can die for, one whom you have sacrificed a lot for to cheat on you..
Cheating is not a good thing. Let's Note that both MALE AND FEMALE cheat.
My question is WHY CHEAT?, what do you have to gain by cheating, I believe there is always a reason behind every action, what could be the reason behind cheating, can this reason every be enough?, although we can't overlook the fact that the body of humans are weak and can give in to some situations but with Self Respect one can overcome some of this Temptations.
My question still remains, WHY CHEAT?.
