Dan Eliasson an the Scandals

Dan Eliasson really is a character, isn't he? How he has managed to run three government agencies into the ground and still be part of the top tier of the political hierarchy is a mystery to a lot of people, me included.

Some people claim he must have something extraordinarily dirty on some even higher-ups. We know for a fact that Social Democrats aren't only in the business of grabbing money from gambling addicts, but also in the habit of throwing large parties and partying hard. Perhaps our buddy Dan took a few pic's of someone doing something stupid, or perhaps he's got some other type of intel on someone or rather something that could topple the entire organisation?

Another reason could be that the organisation is that tight-knit when you get up there so there's some type of absolute solidarity, and sure, to some extent a lot of those people's behaviour do support that theory as well.

It could also be the case of pure incompetence, that there's actually no one else to do it. They've drained every last bit of competence from their political party and all that is left are the hyenas.

It could, however, also be the case that someone else have dirt on Eliasson and he's just playing along to avoid something worse than the public opinion.

Think about it. The medial abuse he has taken the last few years. I really doubt that anyone else is actually coming close to that (save perhaps his boss, mr Löfven). Him sitting on top of the post of police chief has been one long scandal. It started out with the re-organisation of the whole police organisation that people went bat shit-crazy over and continued on to him delaying the border controls during the worst migrant crisis in Sweden (and the EU for that matter) and now he's being the cause of a new scandal unfolding - selling of classified information to foreign companies.

Before and in between these events he's been busy deleting millions of emails to- and from employees at Försäkringskassan (Social Security Agency) and running Migrationsverket (Migration Agency) into the ground.

It's just not normal for, well, anyone do this type of crazy stunts on their own accord, and why on earth would he blackmail someone "upstairs" and still do all the dirty work himself?! It doesn't really make sense, does it?

Just look at the way a lot of these people in the top are acting. They can't possibly believe in all the madness they do, can they? Well, I guess they can, but I think it's more likely that there's someone else, behind the scenes who orchestrates the show. I don't really think Dan is that stupid to do all of the shit he's done, and he's absolutely not smart enough to be able to climb that ladder without someone actively pushing him past all the obstacles on the way.
