IF YOU BELIEVE,YOU WILL DEFEAT
'IF YOU BELIEVE, YOU WILL DEFEAT(Part One)"

Yes! If you literally believe, you will defeat. The statement is actually easy to think of and even fluently spoken but what about the underlying circumstances that are not obvious to us and even its execution? Are they as easy as the statement seems to be or as difficult as a quadratic equation would appear to a kindergarten pupil? After reading this piece to the end, you will know the right answer without you being told.
Believing you can reach certain goals is really as easy as reading ABC when what it takes to achieve the goals are left out. All goals are accompanied with two phases which are the difficult phase and the easy phase, one may come first and the other may come after getting deep into the achieving process . The easy phase always seems to be minimal and less-challenging compared to the difficult phase and that is why we have a lot of people with shattered dreams.
As a determined soul, you should know the factors that hinder one’s achievements and develop the habit of of standing out against these factors because you’ve got dreams that are not worth giving up on. Some of these factors includes;
- DISTRACTION ;
This is the common problem everyone comes across during the course of life. The number one factor that hinders one’s success is DISTRACTION. It usually comes along with some things which lure one into them easily whereas they do not last long and do not have a benefitting effect on one’s journey through life. Let’s bring a story into this.
There was a boy who came from a very poor family of 5(his parents and two siblings including him), three square meals used to be a huge problem for his family but he, being the eldest male child, was not always disturbed by this rather he hoped for a brighter future someday. He set himself some goals and was working towards achieving the goals, he finished his secondary school education with no shattered dream and with an exceptionally good O’level result, he managed to stand out among his peers and that motivated him to strive more harder for success. The problem with his life arose when he gained admission into an higher institution in his state of residence and met some students, he became a medical student and was hoping to become one of the best doctors in the world someday. His first year was a success for him as he topped his department. He met some bad students during his second year and became friend with them ,these guys were not the determined type, they cared less about their education and weren’t expecting a bright future from it, they were the party freak and successfully lured him into exhibiting the same character as they, he joined them in hanging out at nights ,smoking, taking alcohols and lots more,he got distracted from his goals and was made to chase a foolish life, he did not even notice until the time of his second year exam when he couldn’t prepare himself well for the exam because his time had been dedicated for something else which wasn’t helping him educationally. Believe me, he failed woefully and ended up being rusticated from school. Now tell me what his gain was, what actually happened to him? It obvious! He got distracted and his dreams became shattered , where could he have started from again? How disheartening that was.
Did you realize how powerful distraction is? You shouldn’t just give-in to it at all, you should develop a mindset that’s hard to distract and be armed to the teeth because achieving your goals is just like you going to face a war and if you must face a war you want a victory from,you must have been armed to the teeth.
Distraction is a great agent of destruction, you must always be careful and wise enough to call yourself back whenever you are trying to fall into its trap.
Note: Part Two of this article will contain more detailed explanation of the topic and I'll surely keep y'all updated as it would be published very soon. I'm grateful for the love. Thanks.
