Dr. Srinivasan, one of those who took part in the surgery, said that there was no scope for him to feel pain when the patient's brain was operating. Because the section was obscured by 'local anesthesia'. However, the patient was absolutely alert throughout the operation.

Dr. Srinivasan said that this operation was called 'Live Brain Circuit Surgery'. He described this as a significant milestone for the medical treatment of India.

Abhishek Prasad said that after his operation his left hand and left leg still a bit weak. But in a month he is expected to recover completely.
