#MONEYMINTS No. 2: THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO START INVESTING IN THE PHILIPPINES STOCK MARKET

Hello, Steemians! This is my first blog in a series of blogs on this topic on how to invest in the Philippine Stock Market. I am guessing that if you really are interested in the topic, you have already watched some videos on youtube but still don't know how and where to start investing in the Philippine Stock Market.

Before you start investing, there are 3 things you need:

1. MONEY - It takes money to make money. The money you save can be used to invest in the stock market. For as low as 5,000 pesos, you can start investing in the Philippine Stock Market.

Instead of saving your money in a piggybank where you earn 0% or in a bank wherein you can only earn interest of 1%, why not try putting your money in the stock market wherein you can earn high-interest rates as much as 7% or more and your money can earn much faster.

1. LICENSE STOCK BROKER - Stockbrokers are professionals that are licensed to transact in the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE). They will be the one to process on your behalf your order to buy or sell stocks.

Today, there are many online stock brokers that you can join. Just make an account with them, register and put some money into your account for you to actively participate in the stock market. All you have to do is log in to your account, make a request to buy or sell your stocks and the stockbroker will process it immediately.

1. KNOWLEDGE- Investing in the stock market has a risk. In order to minimize the risk, you also need to invest in knowledge. For you to have a profitable investment, you need to know how to properly handle your money or investments. Remember, knowledge pays the best interest!
