Surfing in Delray Beach, Florida! Yes! We do have our days...

Just thought I could take this opportunity to share a little bit about my hometown of Delray Beach....I've been living here since 2001 now and I must admit, this town is incredible with it's downtown beach atmosphere, great restaurants, boutiques, and mixed diversity of people, you can't go wrong with fun in the sun! But what really got me to live here is the surf! Now, most places south of Delray Beach can get blocked by the shadow of the Bahamas when most Northeast swell arrives, but Delray Beach north it can get really good, holding waist to head high++ waves with the best in the world!

If you do surf and you have the opportunity to come out to Florida, winter is usually the best time to come out...hurricane season can be super fun, but definitely tougher to plan a surf trip as we all know it's tough to plan a hurricane. lol
