Next up in the action from last weekends Monster Energy Supercross series in Minneapolis is the big dogs, the 450 SX Class. The red plate seemed to weigh down the new owner, Eli Tomac though as he was buried in the pack from the start. His rookie team mate, Joey Savatgy however was hot off the gate drop and kept his Monster Energy Kawasaki up front for two thirds of the race. Webb and Roczen kept him honest though and it was looking as if he would ride in for his first 450 SX win ever! Not bad for a someone who has only raced five races in the premier division!

Webb eventually got past Savatgy as did Roczen but he did not make it easy for them and i think as the season goes on we will see the rookie on the box sooner than many think. The win takes Webb to three victories this year but it's Roczen that will snatch back the red plate. It's swapping bikes like a hot potato and with the points so close i think we will see it jump bikes a few more times yet :)
