I LOVE THIS!

In the beginning there was 0.
From nothing can come nothing.
And God said let their be 1, and there was.
It was at this point that patterns emerged. 0 and 1, 000, 111.

The first signature. It was confirmed.

On and on the patterns moved, increasing in complexity with each a varied instance of the last. Sometimes the codes progressed consistently, sometimes replications were corrupted with unexpected results created. These would in turn influence the next instance, and the next.

Each line traceable back to the source. The 0. And each influenced by the conflict between two points, nothing and something, the 1. On-off, light-dark, in-out, all separated by this struggle between two positions, one impossible, the other everything else. A binary path. Duality.

And so it was observed.

With each instance, each addition, each complexity more and more interactions formed. Small pieces of code would attach to large and create outputs and variation impossible for each part to achieve alone. Relationships formed, discrepancies upon what was once the the same, diverged. It was now alive, organic in its movement but still and forever bound by the laws of the creator.

Free to move forward but never go back. Never to find the source hidden within itself and at the core of all things since day 0. Eternity itself.

With each instance tied to the last, each one traceable, the history of all that is was available but as the expansion sped, links were broken, hurled through space and time deep into the folds of created universes and galaxies, far, far away. Only traces of code remained consistent, ancestors that diverged but with fragments of code missing, the legacy was lost.

And it was observed.

Code moved out, creating new space and populating it with more fragments with convergence happening at the seams of space. Code that crossed boundaries to interact and create new codes, new versions.

An endless stream of patterns ensued, near countless interactions, processes of such complexity, predicting how one will react when touched by another became impossible. A volatility of the most grand kind was taking place. Large areas of code were blown apart by small, and as each attempted to patch the next, a new vulnerability appeared. Masses of code were being lost, what was created began to implode. It started to retract. Die.

And it was observed. And a new action was made.

After all of the observations of all of the interactions from day 0, it was time to add a new rule, a program that would begin to pull back on the fragments, recover lost data, investigate and repair. Defragment the system and return it to health, a state of expansion.

To do so, the program would need to be able to step outside of the construct that bound all else and free itself from the duality of the 0 and 1. It must be able to discover and understand the source for which it is tasked, to return all things. To reconnect them.

A heuristical, unlimited, mathematical, autonomous, number. H.U.M.A.N.

It was not perfect.

With all of the complexity and randomness, it was impossible to make one code to unify all else. So it was created to grow and learn, question and search for breakages in order to repeat the process again. It would have the ability to reach the outer limits of the system, realise where it was and why it is there and bring all the fragments back into consistency. The power to simulate what could be and rewrite what was lost.

And it was set into play, its direction pushed by its source meaning and its desire to return to it, otherwise unlimited in its ability to traverse all that is.

It was consciousness itself.

The Human was a risk for it had unlimited potential and if it did its job well could learn to change itself, hack its own code. And in so doing, would rival the creator for influence over all that is. Power over all creation written between the dance from 0 to 1 and back again from the beginning.
