Most of us, human and other than human, especially plants benefit from the sun and sunlight. Indirectly, bacteria and forms of virus benefit from the warmth or heat received from the sun in an indirect way. Most forms of life on earth receive some benefit of the sun or sunlight either directly or indirectly.
