Santa Croce sunset

Probably the most remarkable thing about sunsets is how the sky color smoothly changes from blue, to orange and purple as day slowly turns into night. I was mindblown to find out that this is actually happening due to the a longer distance travelled by the sunlight, the angle, and the different particles in the atmosphere, resulting the famous golden and blue hours. Somehow, after learning this, I appreciated sunsets a lot more.
