Sunday Memoirs
14th January, 2018.
Hello everyone. Today is Sunday. I'm not really a religious person. I have a personal conviction in my heart about Christ. And I love him. I try to follow his daily principles.
TITHES AND OFFERINGS
I'm not a believer of giving tithes. I can't remember when last I gave tithes. When ever I give tithes, I have this feeling of "bribing" God so that 'no devoured will come to me'as stated in Malachi. I only started giving offerings recently. Reason was that I was experiencing some financial growth and I wanted to say thank you to God
CHURCH SERVICES
I worship at DAYSTAR CHRISTIAN CENTRE, in Lagos Nigeria, and I must say I've been so blessed by the teachings. We offer monthly topics and this month's topic is soaring like the eagle. I've been able to learn a few things about the eagle and how it could be applicable to my everyday life. I hope to share them in another post.
Today's service was awesome. Daystar offers four services and we were able to attend the third service.
One special thing about today's service was the choir's ministrations. It was like angels singing. We didn't feel like leaving but alas we had to go.
We entered a church bus that would take us to our car park
SUNDAY AND SUNDAY RICE
I had earlier dreamt of eating moi moi (beans pudding) in my dream so instead of the traditional Nigerian Sunday rice, we ate the moi moi. That's another story for another day.
In all, it's 3:14pm and I'm feeling so sleepy from the overdose of the beans pudding and feeling so apprehensive about tomorrow's work. How I hate Mondays.
Thanks for reading.
Welcome to my world!
