Revealed Sunday's Reason Is Set as a Holiday
If you are asked what day of the day are you most waiting, surely you will answer Sunday is not it? Of course, because Sunday is a day where you can pause from any busy activities.
Then never do you think why Sunday is a holiday? Why not the other day?
In fact, Sunday's holiday comes from an ancient Roman tradition in Italy. At that time the Ancient Romans worshiped on Sunday. So they are off on Sunday. In addition, they marked the holidays and other important days in red.
The Romans were a nation that controlled many countries on the Continent. Among the Dutch, English, French, German and other countries. So the Sunday holiday tradition is also applied in the Roman colonies.
From here the beginning of why Indonesia also uses Sunday as a holiday. The Netherlands is one of the colonies of the Romans who later occupied Indonesia for 350 years.
Until now, the Indonesian government has adopted Sunday as a national holiday. The Indonesian calendar also colored the holiday in red. Sunday's holiday tradition is also used by many countries.
But there is not a country that does not use Sunday as a holiday? It turns out that Arabs and Jews do not set a Sunday as a holiday lho! The Arabs set a holiday is on Friday. They think that Friday is the most holy day and to worship. The Jews chose Saturday as their day off, for the same reason as the Arabs.
Thanks :)
@mytik
This is why Hebrews have Saturday as their Sabbath. The reason most Judeo-christians keep Sabbath on Sunday and not Saturday as their God instructed is because the Roman Emperor Constantine outlawed the 7th day Sabbath and mandated the Sunday worship day, to divert worship toward the Roman Sun god Sol Invictus. The Catholic Church at the time just gave in instead of standing up for their beliefs. There is a growing movement world wide of believers returning to 7th day Sabbath day of rest established by Yehovah.
