Sunday is tomorrow, right?
I saw some really great music on Facebook. Turns out it is extremely Christian.
That's okay though. There are a few good bands that can pull this off! My favorite of those is usually Toad the Wet Sprocket. Practical Jesus. But there are MANY artists who dabble awesomely with this subject in at least a song or two. Consider Peter Gabriel. Tori Amos, who's father was a Methodist minister. I can think of dozens of songs by other artists given a few minutes to ponder.
I'm really not a ... Christian Fundamentalist fanatic! Just that so recently decoding prophecy and symbolism and matching it with the times has become a thing for me. Also 'observing' and helping The World come back together in the end and I need all of the breadcrumbs I can find!
Plus I really love his message, about raising children and being a comitted parent and foster parent.
Its about damn time, seeing these kinds of values showing up.
