'Rogue' extrasolar planetary-mass object
Newyork astronomers have detected a planet 'rogue' with powerful magnetic fields moving in space with no parent star.
It is dozen times more massive than Jupiter and it is approx 20 light years away from earth.
This object is called SIMP J01365663+093347. It was initially detected in 2016. This object can produce strong radio emission. It has stronger magnetic fields than Jupiter.
