Summer party ideas
Here are a couple fun ideas for when all of this dreaded ice melts! Summertime, where you at?
So, almost everything I ended up making that day was pretty much an accident but it all turned out pretty awesome! i thought it was going to suck but it totally didn't and i can't wait to do it again!

The picture above is of the two pineapples I hollowed out to make cups out of. The plan was to buy two in case i messed one up but they both turned out quite nicely. We ended up using what we scooped out (pineapple guts) and mixing it with strawberry margarita mix & tequila. I never measure anything i just use the glug system. Seems to work just fine!
The next picture is the little mountain of jello shots i created... the accident in this photo was that i made way too much. But again, it turned out just fine! To make the finger jello shots (the kind you can pick up with your fingers - to elaborate for all the Cree's in the world) you need knox gelatin. I use about 2 1/2 packets of knox per 4 oz of jello but you really just have to do some experimenting to see what consistency you like. And then obviously half boiled water and half ice cold (whatever liquor you're using) just mix in the knox gel and jello packets with the hot water before you add the cold.
*don't eat too many at once. These will getcha!
The little floral decorations happened when one of our lei's broke. I just used it to dress it up.
I'm looking forward to summertime returning & i'm ready to accidentally do some more cool stuff.
