TVR Griffith 500

A quick look round a TVR Griffith 500, taking approximately 60 seconds or so.

The TVR Griffith production ran from 1991 to 2002. Manufactured in Blackpool by the TVR Motor Company Limited, the car has a fiberglass body which is placed over a tubular steel chassis.

Engine choices were 4.0, 4.3, 4.5 and 5.0 litre Rover V8 with the 5.0 only being offered for the Griffith 500. All used a 5 speed manual, which was either Rover LT77 or Tremec T5.

The 5.0 litre produced 340bhp, with a top speed of 169 mph, a 0-60 time of 4.1 seconds and a 0-100 mph in 10.5 seconds.
