In 1996, Spice is released by The Spice Girls selling 23 million, Tupac is shot later dies and Howard Stern Radio Show became syndicated and won two Billboard awards. Something else debuted on Billboard was The Suicide Machines Destruction by Definition and with tracks like "S.O.S." and "New Girl" you can hear the tone of these guys. Only peaking at 31 with "No Face" they left their mark on the ska punk scene.

Lead by Jason Navarro backed by Dan Lukacinski on guiatar, Royce Nunley on bass and Derek Grant on the skins you couldn't get a better group of dudes to form The Suicide Machines. All have continued on in other acts like Broken Anchor, Alkaline Trio and Blueprint 76 since then.​
