🍋 Strawberry Shortcakes: This is pretty much my dream come true dessert

Seriously y’all… can you name a more fresh and delicious flavor combo for a fun summer dessert than a strawberry lemon duo??? This is pretty much my dream come true dessert— I love anything that has whipped cream and strawberries and sandwiching them between two @healthyketomealsrecipe lemon cookies is top-notch yummy!! 🍋Ingredients:

1 pkg Keto Candy Girl Lemon Cookie Mix
1 stick butter, softened
1 egg
Zest of 1 lemon
1/4 tsp @oooflavors lemon

💛Directions:

Preheat oven to 350

1. Add cookie mix, butter, egg, zest, and extract to a bowl. Mix and scoop onto parchment-lined baking sheets. I used a medium-sized cookie scoop for these.
2. Bake for 12 minutes and cool.
3. Slice strawberries and sprinkle with allulose sweetener. Gently massage with your hands to release the juices from the berries.
4. To assemble layer some whipped cream onto one cookie, add on strawberries and an additional cookie. Add more berries and top with whipped cream.

Enjoy immediately 🤗❤️
